Why now
Three structural shifts are converging on the resale economy at the same time. First, the global secondhand market crossed half a trillion dollars in 2026 and is growing at ~18% annually — driven by sustainability, inflation, and the rise of platforms like Whatnot, StockX, and TCGplayer.
Second, the tooling resellers use hasn't kept up. Most operators still rely on manual spreadsheets, screenshotted comps, and gut-feel pricing — leaving billions of dollars of margin on the table every year.
Third, multimodal AI is finally cheap and accurate enough to do real-time visual identification + valuation on the consumer side. The window for a category-defining decision tool is open now and will not stay open for long.

How we make money
Three durable, compounding revenue streams — each with different growth dynamics.
Subscription tiers
Free → Scout ($9.99) → Analyst ($24.99) → Pro+ ($79.99). Power users self-select up the ladder as their scan volume grows.
Affiliate revenue
Every scan returns links to two dozen premium marketplaces — eBay, Chrono24, StockX, Heritage Auctions. We're paid on the qualified clicks and conversions we drive.
Sponsored placement & API
Marketplace operators pay $500–$2K/month for sponsored slots in scan results. Enterprise customers (pawn chains, auction houses) license our API.
Why we win.
Five defensibility moats that compound with every scan.
Proprietary scan dataset
Every scan teaches our valuation models. Two years in, the dataset becomes uncopyable — a new entrant would need millions of scans to match our accuracy.
Multi-model AI routing
We don't depend on any single model provider. Our router orchestrates Gemini, Claude, GPT, and OSS models per task — protecting us from price shocks and rate changes.
Browser extension as distribution
The extension lives inside eBay, Whatnot, and every other auction site. It's our single highest-leverage acquisition surface and one that no competitor can easily replicate.
Trust as a feature
We label active listings as 'active', not 'sold'. We tell users when data is weak. Resellers reward honesty with retention — our churn is well below SaaS norms.
Affiliate revenue as a hedge
Even if subscription growth stalls, every free user still produces revenue every time they scan. The unit economics of free are positive.
Raising a Seed round.
We're raising to accelerate go-to-market in three categories — luxury watches, sports cards, and pro audio — where our unit economics are strongest, and to ship the mobile app and public API by year-end. We're looking for thesis-driven investors with conviction on resale infrastructure, AI-native consumer tools, or marketplace adjacency.
