We label active listings as “active”, not as “sold”. We tell you when our data is weak. We'd rather show a small sample with high confidence than a giant chart that's mostly noise.
Resellers are professionals.
You don't need a tutorial every time. You need fast access to the numbers, your way. We build for power users by default and add hand-holding only where it earns its keep.
Your data belongs to you.
We don't sell your scan history. We don't aggregate it into industry reports without your consent. You can export everything to CSV and delete your account in two clicks.
Tools for builders, not gatekeepers.
An API, a Chrome extension, and a public roadmap. We'd rather have you build on top of us than wall you out. The resale community is small enough — let's not make it smaller.
From spreadsheet to product.
Our team started reselling in card shops, estate sales, and government auctions years before ScanBids existed. We built private spreadsheets to track comps, calculated fees on the back of receipts, and argued about which platform was best to relist on.
A few too many bad bids and a few too many missed opportunities later, we realized: if we were spending 30% of our time on research and only 70% on the actual hunt, we were losing the compounding effect of speed. So we built an internal tool. Then friends asked for access. Then their friends asked. Then we incorporated.
